Get your rulers and pencils at the ready as we join Iggy Peck from our class book to design his unique building and sculptures. Let’s see if we can outsmart Iggy and create the most distinctive design! Can you build a tower of diapers so tall?

We will continue getting creative in our Art and DT lessons, where we will become mini-inventors and design our own cars. In Art, we will explore the craft of warp and weft.

As math magicians we will strap back in with a half-term filled with lots of problem-solving puzzles and reasoning fun! Year 1 and 2 will learn about fractions and money.

Get your backpacks at the ready for our adventure to Manaus, a Brazilian city which borders the Amazon Rainforest. Let’s explore sights we have never seen and meet all the unusual animals that live there. Make sure you take your map – or we might not get back!

Things to remember:

PE day is Wednesday– children arrive and stay in their kits.

 Homework is set on Friday and due on the following Thursday.

Complete 20 minutes per week on Times Tables Rock Star

       Times table and spelling tests will be on a Thursday and results will be sent home.

   Please remember to be part of our ‘In it to Win it’. You must read five times a week, complete your homework on time, have 20 minutes' TTRS, arrive in the correct P.E kit weekly and have an attendance of 96% or above.
