So far, this year 2S has been a lively and fun classroom, where the children are challenged and nurtured to the
‘best they can be’
As we enter the Spring term, children are preparing for their last two terms in Key Stage 1; this is a fantastic time for embedding prior learning and progressing to deepen this understanding. The curriculum is challenging but exciting for the children and provides them with many opportunities to ignite that little spark of genius inside and to allow them to question the wider world.
During this term, they will also develop a higher degree of independence, which ultimately supports them in a smooth transition into Key Stage 2. Although Maths and English remain a key focus, the children still enjoy a balanced curriculum including geography, history, art, computing, phonics, guided reading, RE, PE, PHSCE and science.
P. E will be on a Wednesday.
Please remember our ‘In it to Win it’. You must read five times a week, complete your homework, 20 minutes TTRS and bring your P.E kit weekly.
